Hi
I had to change a holiday due to covid.
I used a travel.company and the flights and hotel were booked separately.
When I changed the dates I was charged £160 (apparently this was for the flights)
I am unable to travel again this year due to covid and the company Is saying I can have a refund but not the £160 extra I paid to change dates.
Can someone please advise
many thanks

Whilst £160 sounds high for a pure amendment fee, the concept of the Amendment Fee being non refundable is correct. It was a fee for a service for them to adjust your booking which they did. The service therefore provided and correct that it would not be refundable.
Might however be worth you rereading the terms and conditions to check that the £160 was the correct fee. Assume it is not £160 for one person but you are a party of four (£40 each) which is more reasonable.2
