Morning, Hugs if you need one. Gers you are going great guns with the clearing of your mums flat, remember to rest!!

We had a much better journey home then we did going, we had a stop over with a fellow blogger, it was great to put people to the faces.

The road was quite busy but no traffic jams than heavens, we made it home just before 3pm. We enjoyed the break although we did not do as much as we usually would, age is telling now. The hotel was great, the staff very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our meal in the restaurant put the icing on the cake on Monday night.

Its down to earth today, we are meeting DD2 for lunch out, tomorrow I have an order from Aldi to collect, then its the weekend again.

No supper tonight as we are eating at lunchtime, just a quick snack.

Morning all

Hurrah the sun has come out its such a nice day which makes a change, I have the wm on the go and will be able to hang the washing out for a change.

My walking friend messaged me to say she wouldnt be at the park today so I will take the dogs over the field for a longer walk this morning, I took them twice yesterday while dd shortened my curtains ( I  cant sew a thing so she mush have inherited that skill from my mum ) I am managing my 10k steps most days by taking them out twice so im sure that will be doing me good. The new curtains look lovely too !

Im meeting a friend later to go and see her new house, they are renovating it so not living in it just yet but it will be nice to have a nosy and then we will have a walk on the beach it will be lovely to see her and catch up on some gossip !

DD will be in charge of dinner Im thinking maybe hot dogs and a corn on the cob with maybe a few wedges.

Nels I hope your poor hands are a bit better xxx

Hello all, we had an early appointment today so we are done and dusted till the one tomorrow lunchtime. We have had a bacon and sausage sandwich each, half bacon and half sausage as I don't like mixing them in one sandwich...... weird I know but it's the way my mother put my hat on   and a large coffee each ! The wm is on with a towel load and there is another clothes one waiting to be done. I hope the sun lasts today as I need to sit in the sun/ potter in the garden to get some vitamin D and me time. Tea tonight will be gammon and cheesy potato pie as I have time to make the pie.

I have been reading along as best I can but nothing has really gone in. I even have several reminders of the appointments, a paper one, which includes when we have to leave the house on the dining table, the original card in the car and they are also on both phones but I still I forget from one hour day to another 😲

Hope all those who have been able to get a break away had a really good time and a safe journey home.

Gers still sorting I see, well done you on getting so much done.

taff our car could do with a valet when you're finished 😁 I'm the same with the sunshine, I usually feel energised !

dp1 I have a K fire and a K paperwhite, they've both been well used since we started the appointments, wouldn't be without them now.

Hester I'm sorry that you have hay fever, it's so miserable sometimes.

I just received an email supposedly from NHS inviting me to apply for a digital passport....I started applying...name . address, etc...then it asks for bank details.
Sent it to my brother asking whether he agreed it was dodgy, then I got home and googled it and it is.
It's a pity these very clever people can't put their skills to better use!
Lovely here so going to sit out with my book before I make tea
