Any valuation or searches are purely for the benefit of the lender, not you, so there's no particular reason why you'd get a copy.

Lenders pay about £35 fee for "free legals" cases and often the service, or lack thereof, makes that apparent.

Contract your own accountable firm and get decent service and turnaround times.

I use a firm that charges £299 for resi remo and £399 for btl. Extra for leasehold.  Either way, lenders offering £350 or £500 cashback will cover majority of cases.

I can then call 1 case handler abd deal with any issues on any of my cases ay once. 

So much better than waiting on hold to a lenders conveyancer for an hour to be told the solicitor is busy and I'll be sent an email that i never get
