I did have some listings that I had selected gsp but some where I did not.
I went through all my listings last night and it looks like ebay have now automatically added the gsp option to everything including items that would be oversized for the gsp program.
I can see some poor sellers ending up having problems when they tell the buyers they can not actually post these items...

Anyway, back to my original post..
I have spoken to the buyer and given them a refund.
I have now listed the wheels as 4 separate items so they have now made 4 individual purchases,
Next question - I now have 4 unique GSP ID numbers. Normally this number forms part of the shipping address so I technically have 4 different addresses to ship to.
Do you think I could just ship them all to the gsp center putting the reference numbers on a separate lable?

Ie. If I book 4 parcels with my carrier they give me 4 lables the same butbnumbered 1/4, 2/4 etc.
Or do I need to book them as 4 individual orders?

I noticed the link above saying you must not combine multiple orders but I presume one delivery of multiple packages will be ok?
You can ship as many as you want in the same day as long as each of your items is boxed seperately and has its own unique GSP code. They will all be treated as seperate parcels.

I often send 2 or 3 things a day via GSP with no issues, the fact that yours are all to the same buyer doesn’t make any difference.

I was more questioning if they would have an issue with the reference number being on a separate lable to the address label?
Normally the ref. Number is the 2nd line of the address I think.

If I wanted to ship them all at the same time with the same carrier I would have to do 4 copies of the address label which would be numbered 1/4 to 4/4 and then stick each individual gsp ref number on each parcel separately

You will have to excuse me as I’m easily confused. Do you have 4 separate sales and therefore 4 Unique GSP numbers? If that is the case then the boxes don’t need to be numbered at all as they are identified by the GSP a number (as you say the long number and letters usually 2 nd line of the address ). It doesn’t matter to ebay if all 4 are going to the same person or to different people as each parcel is dealt with separately

    Yes,
I have refunded the buyer for the original purchase and listed as 4 separate items and they have bought all 4.

So I now technically have 4 separate addresses
Well, the address is the same but the 2nd line of each address is different as that is the reference number for the gsp.

But, rather than book 4 separate deliverys with a carrier I would rather just do one delivery with 4 parcels in it.
But then I will end up with 4 identical shipping lables and none of them will have the gsp number as the 2nd line of the address.
So I wokd then just stick the 4 separate gso numbers on separately,  one on each parcel.

I'm just wondering if this will work when it gets to the gsp hub or if they will only accept it with the reference number within the address label?

Well forget my last question as I have just started to pack them up and even though I have sold as 4 separate items for some reason the GSP reference number they have given me for each one is identical!!

Its likely the buyer went through the checkout with all four together so it got treated as one order?

But if you've been paid four lots of UK postage then it should be fine I expect.
