Ryanair

My daughter has flights booked with Ryanair to Alicante which had been re-arranged from last year.  Ryanair has cancelled the return journey and offered a refund/vouchers.  They have opted for a refund and want to cancel the outbound flight.  What are the chances of being offered a refund for the outbound flight (currently 510 in the webchat queue)!

Provided the outbound and return flights are on the same booking reference, then if the airline cancels one leg they should refund both.

Unfortunately they have different booking references

Just come off the webchat and they are adding it to the refund list.  Pleased with that outcome as we really weren't expecting it!

Just make sure nobody changes their mind before the refund is in your account.

I remember a post where this happened last year.

Oh really. We’ve screenshotted the conversation as it couldn’t be downloaded so I guess we’ll just have to play the waiting game. Not expecting to receive the refunds any time soon!

I can only warn on others experiences, not necessarily give complete info on what may happen this time (I hope for you it goes through without problem).
