Hi - my mum has sent a small £30 payment to a Revolut account which has never arrived. She has checked with her Building Society who confirm it has left, hasn't been returned and they can't do any more. they have given us the trace / transaction number. We have checked the account details are correct (have sent money here before). The recipient has said that her bank are reluctant (Revolut Account) ....... I can't find anywhere on line to contact Revolut without having an account with them.... how do we find out where this payment has vanished to? HELP ...

Your mums bank has the trace, this should show the beneficiary sort code/account number and reference, she can give a copy of this to the beneficiary as proof payment was sent. The beneficiaries bank will not be able to discuss this with your mum/you.

that's unfortunate - so if the beneficiary is not being honest, mum loses her money.......thanks for the reply0

How does your mum doesn't lose her money? Was she meant to get goods or services in return for her payment? If so, she can raise a dispute with her bank, who will attempt to get the money returned from Revolut. This might take some time, and she may never get her money back if the recipient's account is empty but the recipient might get landed with a CIFAS marker and have their account closed - which would seem to be fair punishment for the dishonesty.Bexalcock72 said:that's unfortunate - so if the beneficiary is not being honest, mum loses her money.......thanks for the reply
Another option could be a Money Claim Online - it costs more than £30 to do this, return of money is not guaranteed, but depending on how strong your mum feels about the deceit, it might still be worth it.
It may well be that your mum is not the only victim of this dishonest person, and therefore she should not simply accept the loss.0
