If/when they hit the long-stop, you can walk away from the contract you exchanged.Just to be clear - I understand completely what the contract says, and yes I did sign it. It essentially says that the house builder and can delay as much as it wants up to 6 months
So the long-stop is mid-June plus six months, so mid-December?
Then there's your answer.The contract is extremely one sided
You didn't have to agree to it.
You didn't have to buy an off-plan house.
Them's the risks of buying an off-plan house at a time of serious materials and labour shortages during a global pandemic just after the single most major political and economic disruption this side of wartime.0
