Hi
like everyone we would love to
complete before June 30th. The only outstanding item is our LA search. It’s going through a personal search company and they’ve told us they’re just waiting for building regs.

Is there a way for for us to chase this with the council directly or anything else we can do?
Our local council have signed up to the the land registry digital search which in theory is meant to speed things up. Our buyers search came back a week ago! Same council…
Any help appreciated. Thanks

The most obvious other thing you can do is not bother waiting for the search, and get search indemnity insurance instead (though if you have a lender, they'd need to be on board with that too).1

Hi
yes I’ve asked my solicitor about insurance. Can you buy it separately or does it always need to go via your solicitors? (Ours are basically highway men)! 🙄0 -
Through your solicitor, these sorts of things aren't really sold to the public.1
