Scam

My wife and I have been contacted by "Louis Capital Markets" who offer a Lloyds fixed rate bond at a fantastic 7.625%.
They send by e mail cloned documents obviously from Lloyds but with their own additions..
There is a genuine L C M company with a FCA reference number 225544 so if checking you find them but e mail address to the contact does not match.
If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is!
Beware.

Classic clone scam. How did they obtain both your and your wife's contact details?

    Best fixed (FSCS protected), 5 year a/c = 1.5%              FTSE 100 yield =2.6%

Any "investment" bond three times that of the FTSE 100, is clearly either a scam or very high risk. In either case you do not touch it.

As ColdIron, asked "How did they obtain both you and your wife's contact details?"

... speaking of clones, there are so many "who called me" sites and clones, it's easier to just Google/Bing the number -- you'll find a wider range of sites describing what the number is being used for.
