Morning all, it's quite noticeably colder this morning brrr so I'm back into winter attire

After I dusted and hoovered the downstairs yesterday DD called around with a Fathers day card and the rest of the pressies and the day seemed to zoom by. However I've now broken the kettle completely this time, so out it's going. I'll have to dig out my 'van one for now, it's in one of my crates, I had to use a saucepan on the gas cooker this morning

Another week looms ahead at the hospital with 3 lunchtime appointments and 2 early morning ones. I'll have to make some sandwiches to eat in the car park for after it ends, Mr Fix It can't go nearly all day without eating. I have put the DW on and put several bananas in the freezer, naughty nan for not eating them, I'll keep them for some banana cake...... when I get time to cook it.

Yesterday I cooked a roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings and we had custard slices for pudding mmmm ! Tea tonight will be easy bacon, eggs, sausage etc. followed by tin fruit and yoghurt.

How very sad Hester ☹️ Poor lad but well done DD1 - the sad tears were replaced with happy tears 🙂 Our world can do with more people like her.
