If the patio runs towards the house then it should have a Aco or French drain there or it poses a damp risk.

Can you take a photo from further back?  I can't actually see your damp proof course.  A picture including some other walls would be good.

Is that airbrick under a suspended floor?

All the water just seems to go down that corner and down there that’s just from a hose pipe that had been leaking at top.

Which way does your garden slope?

Its not always possible to slope it away from the house.
My garden sloped away from the house we have levelled the garden it’s set of with a gradient away from the house.
....if the patio is well below the dpc and there’s somewhere for rain water to drain and not pool against the house then no real issue.

According to the OP: "it was noted that the water was running down towards the house."

Much depends on  exact circumstances. I have a place on my property where concrete has been laid much too close to the DPC, but I don't worry because it's in a sheltered place and there's a small slope away from the property into a flower bed. I don't think this situation here will necessarily give the OP any trouble if the water doesn't pool and moves away parallel to the building, but the job still isn't the best.
So all the water from the rest of the patio seems to go down to that side and sits on a couple of flags while slowly trickling down the small gap…. I’m not bothered in the summer but in winter I’m more concerned if there’s heavy rain fall that it won’t be able to cope with it that’s also the corner we were going to be storing our furniture over winter but now worried that will get damaged also 🙈.

Pull out the concrete edging strip or cut it flush with the slabs. Any water pooling should then run off in to the gravel.
