Maybe she is on the fiddle or maybe she is maxed to the limit with credit but still keeps going to keep up with or beat the Jones's. I have seen many people who have all the latest gadgets and gizmos but it doesn't mean they earn any more. However if you think she is on the fiddle, I assume you mean claiming benefits she isn't entitled to, perhaps you could probe her, but then you need to decide if she is, are you going to shop her and if you have probed her she might suspect it is you who shopped her or you could shop her without the probing part if you suspect she is claiming benefits fraudulently:confused: Don' be jealous though, because whatever, it will all catch up with her in the end, you just keep doing what you are doing however tough it is.

Abroad twice a week? Thats hard to believe  Oxford Circus everyweek? Has kids as well? She's a very busy lady then  How can she go on holiday twice a week and go to Oxford Circus once a week when she has kids? Even if she didn't have kids, thats some week.

my sisters idea of 'being on the bread line' is when she is down to her last 50K and still she bales out her kids... and they are all over 30 :rotfl:

If you KNOW she is taking benefit when she is not entitled than perhaps you should shop her.

But are you more annoyed with her claiming poverty rather than scamming the tax payer? If you are more angry with her attitude then tell her. Tell her to sort it out or the situation will bite her on the backside and then just deal with it. If you are angry she is fiddling then shop her. And be prepared that she may work out it was you who shopped her.
  • I have a friend just like that !!! Always moaning about being broke , but new clothes , out every weekend , out for meals. Always says she wants to go part time (no kids) so i said ,well cook instead of takeaways and maybe stay in once in a while , her hubby has own business and loves to tell me how he's 'booked up' and earning loads ,working for himself. She's always been the same though , i just let it go in one ear out the other , there is nothing you can do !!!!

My ex wife is like this. She was claiming WTC as a single parent before I left the family home, and then continued to claim them when she moved her new fella in.

I don't know what has happened now as she has given up work all together and still seems to have loads of money about. She told me that she was depressed and couldn't work, and that financially she was better off on benefits. But neither of my kids have had coats for school this year, or they didn't until I got them. Its hard because I pay CSA and everything and I don't want her to have given up work just to rely on me buying the kids extra.

If you are so unhappy with this person & their behaviour, then do something about it.

If it is Tax Credits report her to them
If it is Housing Benefit, report her to your local Council.

Check on the relevant websites. Both services can be anonymous.

Why have you chosen to be this woman's 'friend' if this is how you feel?
