My daughter is halfway through getting a new roof installed,  roofer is using Marley double Roman tiles.
I've noticed on front of house there is no ventilation tiles installed.
I thought nowadays you had to put ventilation tiles in roof space but they told me that you dont want them anymore and there not recommended anymore.
Is this correct or are they trying to pull a fast one??

It will be in the eaves. Ventilation is essential yes but they are different ways to do it. If in doubt ask them, its not a secret they will keep.

They use breathable felt these days, which means you shouldn't need vent tiles.
