Tumble Dryer Shenanigans....

It's never happened before but today my tumble dryer tripped the electrics in house.  We got the electricity back on but my tumble isn't coming on.  Could the dryer have fused and caused the electricity to trip?

Thank you 😊

When the element in our tumble drier part of our washer drier died it would trip the RCD each time it was used... the washing element was still fine hence why it was used at all after the issue.

Check the fuse in the dryer plug if it has one & replace if blown.
Turn dryer back on & if it trips the electric again it's probably the dryer heating element that has gone.
An easy DIY fix if you are fairly competent.
