Ear defenders for sleeping in?

Any suggestions for comfy ear defenders that I can sleep in?
Not ear plugs, the over-the-ear type.
My neighbours have installed a hot tub on their decking and it is making it difficult for me to get a decent night's sleep.

These cover so many different noises, from my partners snoring to any noise outside. I would never be without them.
Thank you all who post.0 -
I don't see how a conventional headset would stay on unless you remain very still when sleepingl

And there should be the smell of chlorine also which i get from the one down the road.
Something that is smaller and thinner is ear muffs. As it's not winter you'll need to borrow those.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Is there a particular reason you can't wear earplugs? I don't think anything going over your head is going to stay on.
I'm an earplug-wearer of a decade so I have tried a lot of them!0 -
Sleepphones are pretty good . Worth checking their website . It's like wearing a very light headband . Ideal if you're a side sleeper .2

Ideal if you're a side sleeper .I’m a side sleeper, and, to help me get to sleep, I have a single ear bud through which I play music quietly. When I roll over, I swap the ear bud over, if I’m still awake.
If I slept on my own, I would just have a loudspeaker playing softly. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -
I was at the Yorkshire show last week and there were a few stalls that were offering an ear scan for free and then thy can make you any type of earplug you want, ones with valves (for working in), ones for sleeping in, ones with Bluetooth, ones with noise cancelling for shooting etc.
I think they were £85 for the cheapest basic pair for sleeping in, for a custom made set that will be comfy, that doesn't sound too bad. I almost bought a set but got distracted and now I wish I had.
I've tried loads of the temporary bung types but very few are good, I used to get some proper decent ones from place I worked at but I've since found out the company stopped buying them as they were £5 per set, best way I can describe them is they pinch up real tight and are easy to fit in your ear and they slowly expand but never pop out. and as they expand it's like going deaf can't hear a thing0 -
