£53 left to find tomorrow!! Not sure if anything else is due in today. I don’t think it is.

Phew, almost the end of a busy two weeks!
DD had clubs on pretty much every morning, then my car service and MOT this morning.

Yesterday I went through my paperwork container and I’ll be shredding hundreds of bits that I no longer need over the next few weeks.

Still at -£53 of the extra £400+ I tried to recoup.

I might try and do that every few months to see what I can make. It made me determined and focussed anyway. I still have some bits I can sell that I’ve found so I’ll be listing them soon. Decluttering also helps me so it’s something I plan to keep doing.

All money coming in is pretty much going into savings. I’m back on the collect delivery to save me visiting a shop! I’ve got such a strict budget this morning because of the car service. There’s no room for error.

When the extra money came in, I got a bit giddy and bought more than I normally would in the supermarket. I need to learn not to do that! I think it was because I was shopping conscious I had more money 😂.

    Enjoy your bank holiday weekend.

Started to get my decluttering mojo back.

I went through some drawers and got rid of a lot of things that weren’t needed. DD helped shred some items but the shredder over heated so will try that again today. We were up to two bin bags full so not surprised!

There’s still a lot to go through but now I’ve got the bug again, I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.

Need to find £53 today. Think I can do part of it as I’m due in £30.

    £34 received today.

That’s -£19 for the two weeks target of over £400.

Think I might challenge myself every month to earn extra. This months service and MOT need paying for and also the house insurance so I’m going for £350 by the 15th May payday.

Well done on the extra money. Do you do surveys? Quite a few people on here do well with them.

Thanks 😊. yes, I do. That’s where a lot of my extra comes from. Do you have any preferred ones?

I’ve just discovered the coupon queen too!

If you’re on TopCashback back then you can upload a receipt with an Easter egg on and get the amount back up to £1.50. I logged in and had nearly £4 in there (had forgotten) so this will take me over the £5 cash out mark.

Does anyone else have any other ideas or suggestions? I tutor too but that goes into my business account. I still count it but it’s separate.

I don’t do surveys much now, I just don’t have the spare time, working full time and being a carer for Mr SA.  I did have a brilliant survey a few years ago, listening to music for a radio station and saying whether I liked the song or not, got £50 for it. I use TCB and Quidco when I can.

No, you have two full time jobs in reality!
that sounds like a good survey to do though listening to music!

    Morning,

Does anyone use eco eggs? Just wondering if they’re worth switching to

    Morning

You have done well with your extra cash. Didn’t know you could upload receipts on top cash back.
I’ve never used eco eggs so can’t help on that one.
Looks like it’s going to be a nice day here.
    Enjoy your weekend x
