I could really use some advice on how to resolve a problem I have with the CRA's
I have several credit accounts (credit card, current account, mobile etc) and have held some of these for 10+ years. Up until recently these were being reported to the CRA's.
However, a couple of months back they all disappeared from my files with all of the CRA's. My other information appears (address history, electoral role, searches etc) just no information from the credit accounts I hold and had always appeared previously.
I've spoken to both Experian and Equifax, but they haven't been able to resolve the issue. I've also spoken to the companies that I hold the accounts with and they have all confirmed they are reporting the information to the CRA's. I've even been able to take out an additional mobile contract to see if this would be approved and appear with the CRA's (it hasn't appeared on my files).
I'm at a loss of how to resolve this and who to approach. I wanted to buy a property and lost out on a home because nobody can give me a mortgage without the credit account history on my files.
Help!

Submit a SAR to all the CRAs, if they previously held the data on you then even if it is not showing online, they still have that data and so have to release it to you in response to a CRA. If they do release the data to you, then you can ask them to tie it all up together, if they do not then you can raise it with the ICO.1 -
Yes, the names match across the accounts and are at my address where I appear on the electoral role.
I'll send a SAR to all of the CRA's. This should be easy, but as there is no longer any account information they cant verify my identity automatically.0
