So I moved into a flat about 5 weeks ago now?
For a period of about 10 days I would say there was arguments every night- I’m talking blazing rows, ceiling vibrating from it and being able to hear it word for word. Voice recorded them because I genuinely afraid that I would get someone at my door causing problems- I suffer very badly from PTSD after leaving an abusive relationship.

Friend came round for dinner one evening and as she was leaving they were screaming at other with threats of violence. So she called the police. Police came round, arguing denied but showed them the voice notes and they told me to continue to keep a log and call if anything was to happen.
Next day said neighbours stopped my 16 year old brother and asked him in a very threatening manner if he had called the police. Obviously very intimidated, I went and spoke to them calmly and politely with my brother and we thought it had been sorted.
last night while leaving my property (keeping in mind I have seen the neighbours plenty of time since and he even came to my door to say I had left my car window open) I got into my car and was sat talking to my brother for him to then come to my car, stick his head in my window and say “you don’t know who I !!!!!! am the people I know I would keep my !!!!!! mouth shut if I were you”.
Rang police, because I didn’t return to the property last night they didn’t class it as a risk but have said to call if there is so much as a dirty look.

I just need some advice on what I can do. I’m tied into a 6 month lease.

You could ask to terminate your tenancy agreement, but you will have to pay rent of the six months (or until a new tenant can be found), so it will cost you a lot to get out it. The best thing you can do is call the police when you are concerned and tolerate it when you are not. Give your notice in when you are able to do so, and let the landlord know why.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.2
