Scam Warning, related to online gaming

I was just playing an online game: Crossword Jam. It sent me a message offering me, as a loyal customer, a chance to win an IPhone. To cut it short, I did win one, but they wanted me to pay £1 for postage. I was suspicious, but less so than usual, because it came from within a game that I've been playing for ages, and got from a legitimate source - Amazon. But I also know that their are a lot of scams around at the moment asking people to pay for postage for a prize win. Also, the address at the bottom was from Cyprus - with no offence meant. It's just that a lot of scams come from overseas. I assume that in Cyprus they might well be wary of scams coming from the UK. This one was so tempting that I'm sure many would be taken in by it.

So did you pay the £1 postage and if you did, when is your new iphone being delivered?

LOL - no I didn't, but only in the nick of time. I Googled them and nothing showed for them, scam or otherwise, so I suspect they've just set this name up and haven't yet been widely reported as scammers.
