Rubble coming down the chimney. Should I be worried?

Hi all
Behind my electric fireplace is the real one. One a couple of occasions I've heard rubble (not big) fall down behind. I've checked and I can't see much dust so I'm assuming it's not falling all the way through. Just curious to see if it was something I had to be concerned about.

Could be old mortar used to line the flue. If it is an old property, it isn't an uncommon problem as long as it is only small lumps <50mm. Or it could be lumps of soot/creosote from when the chimney was used with an open fire.It wouldn't hurt to get the flue swept by a chimney sweep - He will be able to advise if there is a serious problem. If the pot isn't capped, it would be a good idea to have one fitted. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1
