U.K. Gov. Scam company

Just a heads up to everyone that a company trading as Expert Medicals which is on the Gov U.K. website as a supplier of the day 2 day 8 Covid test are a complete scam company.  I have tried to notify gov U.K. yo get them taken off their recommended list but they are still trading months after I was ripped off!!

As highlighted on similar threads about other companies, the gov.uk site is quite clear about this:
The government does not endorse or recommend any specific test provider - you should do your own research about them and their terms and conditions.

However, if you have some actual specific feedback then it might be worth sharing it on here to form a more meaningful warning than just vaguely asserting that they're scammers, without any supporting detail....

How have you tried to notify the UK Government? The correct way is to call coronavirus testing contact centre on 119. The UK Gov are monitoring any issues with private test providers & they will investigate if it’s a simple error or an ongoing trend. There are quite a few providers who have been removed from the list for failing to meet the standards required.

Firstly it is not a recommended list. The UK gov site is very clear on this part.

If you want to complain / notify  then call the coronavirus testing contact centre on 119.

Perhaps you can give concise detail about how you were "scammed / ripped off" etc as it may help someone else?

If not your post may not have any impact!

Sorry! As many first time posters usually have the scammed / ripped off headings in their first post are usually ignored, as they seldom come back  to give more details?

So please give more actual facts.

If it is the list at https://www.find-travel-test-provider.service.gov.uk/test-to-release then they  are DHSC approved so to my mind they must be government endorsed and recommended

    Quote from Gov website
    “Find a test provider

You can compare and choose a test provider based on cost, turnaround time, and whether they are available in your region.

The government does not endorse or recommend any specific test provider - you should do your own research about them and their terms and conditions.”

    https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider

The Government initially allowed only one supplier CMT and were criticised that the price was too expensive and that people should be able to choose their own test provider ; now people have a choice of provider and must do their own research.

It took me less than 5 mins to Look at the Expert Medicals T&Cs -—

2.5 Services are offered subject to availability at the time of booking. Expert Medicals reserves the right to cancel, reschedule appointments or deliveries.

2.6 Please note that the service that Expert Medicals provides does not include collection from your address. If you are purchasing a Home Test Kit, it is your obligation to arrange for the Home Test Kit to be returned to the designated laboratory address to fit your time scale. Such time scale or time frame is your prerogative, and not the obligation of Expert Medicals.

2.7 Time is not of the essence in this contract and Expert Medicals do not accept any responsibility or liability for any losses arising if the test result is not provided to you within your required timescale, which may have been stipulated by third parties.

    6. Refunds Policy & Returns Policy

We operate a strict no refund and returns policy with no exceptions.

6.4 We will not provide a refund if you have not received your test kit by day 2 of your isolation. The day 2 and day 8 tests can be undertaken on or after day 2 and 8.

    Cheaper is not always better.

Where are you seeing that they're "DHSC approved"?

    That page states that:
The providers listed on this page have declared they meet minimum standards for day 2 and day 8 tests
and in turn that link makes it clear that this is a self-declaration process.
