PCN for one way road, but lacking signage!

Hello all,
I have an ongoing e-mail war with a local council at the moment with regards to a PCN charge for driving the wrong way on a one way road. Normally, you'd think this is a simple one. However, the car exits a private car park (closed down pub) and turns right into the one way road. The only signs on view from the car park exit showing it's one way, is a white arrow on the floor about 20 yards away. As you can see in the photos, the physical signs are the wrong side of the car park exit, so it's physically impossible for the driver to see these. Is one floor arrow enough to notify the driver? I see this as completely unreasonable.. What if it's snowing? Chucking down with rain? Or in this case, bright sun/shade making the arrow hard to see?

Would appreciate any thoughts or feedback before we look to take this further!

What happens if a large vehicle joins the one-way system and reaches those bollards? (Rhetorical question @therealbane, PePiPoo is your best next stop). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Is your vehicle the white one exiting the car park? If yes I presume that there are other images to prove that it turned right? If not then how are they proving that the contravention occurred?
PS - you should redact the image in your post to mask the case number and your VRM.Jenni x1 -
And also your full name is showing on that image Mrs BLM.1
