Dreadful Delivery Times With Pitney Bowes UK 😡🤬

I'm awaiting an item from this inept company, it's sitting in their depot until it gets handed over to Hermes.

They've had this parcel since last Saturday, 12th June, and it's still there, Hermes are still waiting for it.

This is the 2nd time i've experienced this same thing, and it'll be the last.
Last time they sat on it for a week before handing it over.

Anyone else experienced similar or is it me ???

Maybe Hermes only pick up at certain times, such as weekly.

Is it an eBay parcel sent via the GSP?

I don't know, seems a mad thing to do as there must be thousands sitting idle, i've received parcels via this method before whereby PB hand it over to H and this time it's definitely not being done in the expected timeframe.

    It is.
As previously said, i've bought this way numerous times before and never had this amount of delay, the GSP is definitely getting worse, for years i've bought this way and it's really only this past few months it's been like this.

After the umpteenth check it shows as some sort of problem incurred so i'm guessing the box has been opened/damaged in transit or the labelling has come off.

The company sending to me have been informed, showing all the tracking info, and i know it will get resolved but it's frustrating nonetheless.
  • The updates show that as of mid morning the parcel was handed over to Hermes.

At least i now know i'll receive the parcel within the next few working days.

In my area Hermes have improved significantly over the past year and seem to be nearing the excellent service that DPD provide - they are definitely the best courier around here.
