in Credit cards
Hi there,
I have had a Vanquis credit card since October 2020 and I’d like to know how good are they at increasing the credit limits?
I am keeping it only because it’s the first credit card I’ve ever got.

If you have been using it, paying it off in full every month then they might increase it, depending on your other credit history0

There are lots of variables to credit limit increases, but they do raise them. Mine started low, raised to £2000 - but I don't use it anymore except for the odd purchase to keep it alive, with it being my oldest credit card. So now I wouldn't think they'll raise it any further in my case. Your own case will depend on your own circumstances around usage and payment history in relation to other things such as your salary.0

I've had my Vanquis card in excess of 10 years (it was my first card once I'd finished digging myself out of a financial hole with the help of CCCS as it was back then). It has never had a credit increase (to be fair, I've never asked for one)1
