Opera snooze mode

Does anyone know how to switch off the snooze mode in the opera browser.  I have disabled it in the settings, but it still goes to snooze mode.

Apparently it's something Opera are in no hurry to fix, but that there's an extension that fixes it:

Edit: I'm using Google Chrome - I don't know if the "leads to" link is different if you're using Opera.

Other opera users appear to be experiencing the same issue if it is of any comfort. Some appear to have lost patience and switched to other browsers.
