EDF Fixed Term Tariff Ending July 2021 - switch now?
Hi all
My fixed term tariff with EDF ends on 3-/07/2021. All tariffs these days are so much more expensive so if you were in my shoes would you switch now in the event of tariffs becoming even more expensive or leave it until late July and continue benefiting from my current cheaper tariff?
thanks in advance

Depends how good your crystal ball is and where you think things are going. You're probably in your switching window by now so... The trend for what its worth is upwards.

Start your switch immediately! If you decide to go with a supplier tariff without exit fees then you can always switch again should prices go down.0

so it doesn't make sense to carry on making the most of my cheaper tariff and then switch in late July?0

If you think prices will rise in the next 6 weeks, switch now. If you think they will stay the same or fall, switch later. Given that it's summer, your energy use is likely to be at its lowest and the gain or loss will be no more than a pound or two.
