Bank accounts for clubs.

I am secretary of a club banking with Nationwide, who have told us they won’t accept money being paid in soon. We applied for a Lloyd’s club account, and have been refused. Looking around for other club accounts, but would be grateful for any recommendations.

TSB Business - Club and Charity account. It's decent for FREE! My badminton club uses it and you can have more than one person logging into the account, making online payments etc. But each first has to attend branch with specified ID for approval and process takes awhile. Money can be paid in at the Post Office (still using a paying in book last time I did it!). App works okay on Android and iPhone. No debit card. If you're buying anything for the Club little option but to use your own card then refund yourself in online banking. You can get a contactless reader, free for first £1k in payments.

What is it specifically you're looking for? Many of the high-street banks offer "club accounts" (admittedly, they may start charging a fee after the first year or two, much like business accounts). Could your requirements be met by one (trusted!!) member of the club simply opening a new ordinary personal account to hold club funds?wimphot said:Help - please.
