where do people find the comps?

Most of the websites that regularly run comps send out newsletters which remind you - you'll see that certain people on here post the comps on certain websites.
I tend to make a note of which ones I've entered so when I have time (not very often) I can check to see if those websites are up to date (I've usually been beaten in posting them though:o ).
Alternatively, keep your eyes peeled - and experiment with various google terms.
But most importantly - don't forget to search the main competitions board to make sure it's not already been posted - I usually search part of the URL address, or you could search the name of the company, prize, etc.
