Hot water pressure washer?

Sounds a bit daft but we recently had a garden tap installed, however, it appears the tradesman has installed it to our hot water and been told normal pressure washers can’t be used with hot water 😑
we were wanting it to clean the ground and car etc but unsure exactly what else we can use a hot water tap for besides a swimming po that is rarely used.
can anyone advise if there is such a thing as a pressure washer that can run with hot water before we call this a waste of £110 😔

Get the tradesman back to correct their error.

As above, why worry about whether you can use a PW or not, just get the guy back to fix his mistake.
BTW, which make/model of PW do you own?0 -
I have hot and cold outside taps use the hot more than cold and works with our pressure washer fine!Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'0

As others have said, get the "tradesman" back to fix their mistake. You'll find if running a hose etc of a hot tap for more than a few minutes, you may end up with the hose pipe popping out of it's end fittings as they're not designed for hot water and things will expand. I also wouldn't use hot water for pressure washing a car - you'll weaken any protection that's on the paintwork if you have any (car wax etc).1

As advised get the person who claims to be a tradesman back to rectify his stupid mistake.

As above it needs sorting by whoever fitted it however temporarily if you want to get some work done in the garden flip the switch to the boiler (assuming combi) when it’s time to pressure wash so it’ll only run cold.Things that are free in life are great, well most of the time :beer:1

This happened to us, it was particularly difficult as we only had the outside tap put in as we were having an extension built and needed the water to mix cement. We tried to get the plumber back, we hadnt paid him. He never arrived. We turned the boiler off and used the tap and it got fixed by the plumber who did the kitchen.0

Kranzle pressure washers can use 60º water. But it would probably be less expensive to get the pipes switched0
