Purple Bricks advice needed!

Hi,,
Hoping someone on here will be able to help me. Ive put an offer on a house being sold via purple bricks. It has been under consideration for approx 1 week now (put offer in straight after viewing for asking price) and now ive receive 3 emails to say 3 other offers have been made. Is there any way I can see what these other offers are incase I need to increase my offer? Im very keen on the house and dont want to miss out. Any ideas or advice? Thanks!

I doubt that the Purplebricks system would routinely tell you what the other offers are - and Purplebricks don't generally drive negotiations, so it's probably up to the sellers to decide how they handle the situation.- Some sellers might think it's rude and/or stressful and/or not standard practice to ask for more money from people, so they just pick the best offer they've received.
- Some sellers might tell people what others have offered and invite higher offers - but that's likely to result in a painful auction, with each person repeatedly offering £1k or £2k more than the current highest offer.
- Some sellers might just say they've had a number of offers and invite people to submit their 'best and final offer'. That's what 'traditional' EAs tend to do, because it's usually quickest and easiest.
I guess you could chase the buyers, and hint that you might be open to offering more. But you might be shooting yourself in the foot, if your offer is already the highest.
(Or you can try a tactic like saying there's another property that you're considering offering on, so can they tell you the status of your offer - to see if you get any useful info back.)
