SAGA EQi saga - sold on (sold out) yet again

I'm trying to remove myself from the shares invested I have lest but the communication from Eqi has been dreadful. It seems all they wanted to do was take their cut.
What sort of deal was done between them? From a free shareholding to a quarterly fee which now seems to be a monthly fee from the new dealer....
I've sold most of my shares after much procrastination and prevention by EQi - dead phone lines and dead end queries.
My shares left are worth less than £5.00 (bad investment)! It's costing me more to keep them than their value - EQi refused to let me sell them - not enough funds to cover the sale but they were quite happy to keep charging as no doubt the new company will.
SAGA were less than diligent re. the move to EQi whilst EQi are simply terrible to deal with.
I have no faith in either and will never use SAGA again.
Anyone else post SAGA having the same difficulty?
