Plusnet broadband and home phone debt

Hi, I got a letter from arvato saying I owe plusnet £96. I have recently left plusnet but not aware of a debt.

assumign I do owe it, do plusnet report to credit files? Arvato have already told me they don’t 

I don’t want a late payment marker or default going on my credit file, and will challenge the £96 with plusnet but in the meantime I don’t want it appearing as a late payment etc

Nothing on my credit file as of today (totallymoney)

It's quite possible they can report to the CRAs and it's just taking a while to update due to covid, if you owe the money, I'd pay it before it ends up with something worse than a letter. If you don't owe it, nothing should appear on your file (and if it does, should be removed by the firm, via complaint if necessary)

totallymoney is probably showing you a snapshot.

There isn't much you can do apart from talk to plusnet.
