Priming doors, cracks in primer.

I'm painting our internal doors at the moment, they've been fully stripped.
No matter how many coats of Leyland Primer I put on, there are still cracks coming through the primer. Would much rather there not be cracks, before the topcoats. Any tips? Cheers.
