Getting a refund for a ticket purchased after the event took place

Hello,
i recently purchased a ticket through see tickets for the online stream of Glastonbury. The stream finished at 11:30pm 22nd May. I purchase my ticket on 23rd May at around 2am. I emailed the company the following day asking for a refund. They got back to me explaining that it was in their terms and conditions to not give refunds. I don’t undeestand how they can sell tickets for an event I would have never actually been able to view due to it having ended!

Can anyone help me with this please? I purchased the ticket online with my debit card

When did you think the stream was going to be ?
If you have evidence that the date/time on the purchasing site was advertised incorrectly then you have a case

Do you work with Dr Who?

Wasn't it still available on catchup after the live broadcast?1

The golden question is, why on earth did you purchase a ticket for an event that had already ended?

was it definitely not available. Because they had major issues on the day , I read that it would be available the nextt day (23rd)
website says there were encore streamings on sun 23rd at Sunday broadcast times for the livestream, at 2pm BST & 7pm BST.
having reread the website it does look like you had to have bought a ticket to the 7pm show on saturday to watch the encore.
in which case like you said they sold you something they couldnt provide so maybe get on to your card provider assuming you paid by card
