Lost IHT400 Forms

Hello
I’m so annoyed. About 5 weeks ago, I sent the IHT400 form along with the various supporting forms to HMRC. I called today for an update only to find they have no record of the forms. I know they received them as i sent them Recorded Delivery and EDM signed for them.
I’ve been told to wait 5 days to let them search. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any hope of them finding the forms?

Unfortunately, I didn’t take a copy, so I’d need to start it all again 😢.

This is what I have had to enquire at my solicitors about. We have had no acknowledgement from HMRC and are now 5 months into it and hoping it was sent to the solicitor.Did they find it?0

Also, just thought i'd add - having spoken to them today, they are apparently prioritiising them.
