Savingsshack

Good morning some advice please if you can apparently I had signed up to a company called savingsshack back in April I didn't realise as soon as I did I tried to use the link to cancel but it wouldn't work I sent them numerous emails none were answered they took approx 120.00 out of my account I finally rang them today..I couldn't as I am.deaf so today I tried to talk in the phone ..they have cancelled ant further payments but can't reimburse me and the reason I haven't had any replies is they may have a back log ..from April??? I emailed them straightaway within 14 day cooling off period but they didn't acknowledge me person I spoke to said he work ing from home so couldn't access my emails ..any help would be greatly appreciated please

    How was the payment taken? They can't just take money from your account unless they have your account details or card details?

    If you definitely didn't sign up, then I would contact your bank.

    The OP did sign  up, albeit inadvertently.

    OP if you have proof that you followed the cancel instructions.

    and they have taken funds after your cancel date. Contact you bank for a chargeback stating payments taken after cancellation. You will need to provide proof of this.

    If you are deaf why not use a relay service? BT's service is free of charge and works if you are deaf, mute or both... if you dont want to talk or people struggle to understand you then you type your question/reply the BT agent reads it out the agent at the other company response and the BT agent types the reply for you to read.  Takes a bit of getting used to as they want you to type exactly what the person is to read out rather than you saying "please ask them...." 

    As to the agent you did speak to, they seemed to have cancelled it from today for you but how did they leave it regarding the previous payments? That they will be dealt with once the backlog is finally cleared or... ?
