Morning all
Very hot here already not that im complaining rather this than rain ! Yesterday we took the dogs to the woods where it was quite cool but we only walked for about an hour to save them overheating, we came across a lady with a dog and she asked us where the pond was as she had lost her bearings, we were headed that way so she walked along with us, she kept saying thank god you came along as she was completly lost ( had she walked in any direction for a few miles she would have hit a road eventually) but good deed done for the day we got her back to her car. The dogs also had a good swim in the pond which they love and it cooled them off.
Onto today I am taking mum to get her will changed we were meant to go a few weeks ago but she was poorly, obviously since my brothers passing it will have to be changed so it will be good to get that done and it will be a weight off her mind. I will see if she wants to pop to the shops afterwards.
Not sure about dinner tonight but something and salad I think.
Gers you are doing so well, hope you manage a bit more today xx
Have good days all xx

Morning All from warm and sunny Eastbourne
Thinking of all the sad and poorlies xx
Drove down yesterday and in the afternoon went for a walk along the promenade and pier
Sadly no music at the bandstand but still a lovely wander around
Had a bit of an uncomfortable night as it was so hot but hey ho
Had a nice breakfast and will go out again shortly
They have a Hotter shop here so I may go and treat myself to a new pair of sandals for my bday later in the week as my most comfy pair are only real held together by my sewing
Driving home tomorrow may take a scenic route to eek the trip out a bit longer
It was lovely sitting outside last night hearing all the little birds tweeting away whilst sipping a nice glass of wine
Its true what they say a change is as good as a rest
Enjoy your day all

Morning all, much cooler here and grey again, & drizzling when I took DDog out at 7.30.We had bbq's Sat & Sun, we still have stuff left over so if it doesn't warm up a bit I'll have to freeze for the next warm spell. We watched the match , & DS went to join DS2 at the pub with some other mates to watch ,returned in the early hours but was very quiet.Next door but one had friends round, they've put an outdoor tv in the back,& that got a bit noisy too TA.Gers , sounds like you're doing a fine job, & helping others too.Nelski sorry your hands are still bad but nice to hear from you.Nothing else to say really so will love you & leave you x

Hello all, the sun is shining again and it's hot already. Don't know how long this nice spell will last and we may have thunderstorms later in the week but I'm going make time to sit out in the garden this afternoon and enjoy.Yesterday I planted my new plants and did some more digging out, the latter is taking ages to complete as the darned roots aren't playing nicely, it's giving me a workout I suppose although my hips would say differently today ! I managed to mow the front lawn but I was too hot to do the back, so that's one of today's tasks along with some plant watering. First I must clean the kitchen and the fridge out ready for a sm delivery about lunchtime, which has one thing MIA and one subbed. Tea will be something from the delivery and some strawberries and cream/ice cream for pud.Hope everyone has a good day.Take care all, thinking of the poorly and worried.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

Really hot here at the seaside. Saw photos of Margate beach - it was like it used to be in the past - I suppose a lot of the people there would otherwise have been sun bathing on a foreign beach.
