Credit card not showing up on Experian credit report?

Hi, I am now regularly using my credit card (which I’ve had for years) and paying it off every month in a bid to improve my credit (as all other means credit card/loans are in my husband’s name so whilst his credit has always looked good, mine looks non-existent-I also never really used my credit card beforehand) 
However my credit card account is not showing up on either my Experian credit report or credit club account? How can I change this as it’s really important that it’s documented for me that I’m using it and paying it off every month...do I have to contact my bank as my credit card is through them?

Banks choose which CRAs to report to, if it's not on Experian it could be on Equifax and/or TransUnion - you can check them for free at the Clear Score and Credit Karma sites

It will be documented that you are paying it off every month, just not all lenders use all the 3 main CRAs
