Hi since I moved into my new property it has an existing Triton T80Z eco electric shower, the issue is it only seems to want to turn the water extremely hot or freezing cold and no other way of changing the gauge, should I just buy a new electric shower, would this solve all my problems?

There are two gauges. One has three settings for the power. The other has to change the flow and, hence, the temperature gradually. Is it the latter that doesn't work?

If you have gas and a decent water pressure and bouiler it want s to be off that for cost.
As for electric showers. Cold/fast and hot/slow are your options. All depends on the rating of it (you want the 10.5 kW version, the others should be in a bin). It the wireing cannot cope with a decent shower you will not get one. If the wiring is ok a new shower may help. it will still be expensive.

If RTFM doesn't work, then yes you need a replacement shower, but RTFM is cheaper. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?2 -
Descale the shower head and clean out any filters on the inlet pipe - The manual should tell you how to get to the filters.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -

If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -
