Thanks @leftatthetrafficlights - we can cheer each other on!

Once I'm debt neutral, the next target will be to become debt neutral without taking into account my S&S ISA (currently £5,100) as that is part of my retirement fund but I have included it in my calculations for "liquidity" purposes.

Well done on the progress so far. Great that your OH sold a car to help clear some of the debt. You are going into 2022 in a much stronger position.

Not going to make debt neutral this month - OH needed to buy some expensive parts for his car and various other unexpected expenses have come up so now aiming for debt neutral by end of February and true debt neutral by end of May.

Freezers are full, we have heating oil on order, all major bills are paid so hopefully we can hit target next month!
  • Why is it always when we're close to hitting a target that unexpected expenses come to bite us??!!! 🙈😔 Glad that you have all the major stuff paid and your oil ordered (prices of that are horrendous at the moment!! 😲) hopefully you'll hit the February target as you've got all that sorted! 😊
