Thank you!  Feels good to know I haven't got to try and shuffle money this time when 0% deals end.

We started stoozing when we had an offset mortgage and BT fees were low, then used some of the money for home improvements and OHs hobby (rusty old cars) so it didn't really feel like debt as we had assets we could sell but now's the time to be rid of the debt and start saving for things we want.

Went to visit my folks yesterday and got given a load of shallots so will pickle them today - good timing as just started on last years lot and realised I messed up so they are no good.

Also picked up a sack of potatoes which I'm going to process today - can some for roast potatoes and chips, dehydrate some for stews.  Having potatoes ready for chips will hopefully prevent us from going out for takeaway!

My folks also sent me home with loads of bags of wood for the log burner.  They are moving in just over a week and won't be able to take all the logs that dad has prepared with them so they want me and my sister to have as many as possible.  So that's many evenings of free heat over the winter!

Can definitely see the positive impact on my credit file of paying chunks off the cards.

Got some work which needs to be done to the house so repayments will reduce over next couple of months but hoping we can sell some assets to pay off a large chunk.  Very conscious I have £4.5k to pay off in just over a month and I really don't want to have to shuffle to a new card.

OH sold his car!!  I didn't think he would do it but he has.  It's a diesel and been doing it no good being sat and not driven since early last year.  He has the use of several other cars so it's all good and he can always buy whatever car he really wants when he will be able to use it.  I can't believe he's done it!

So now debt stands at £6,700.  Not much more reduction happening this month as we have a plasterer and carpet fitter booked (taken into account in this figure) but hopefully we can have this cleared by very early next year!

Still on track to clear the debt early in the new year. Now at just under £2,000 although this will go up a little as we need to pay our gardeners who are busy clearing the hedge / garden.

Just paid off CC3 as the 0% was due to end at the start of January - feels good to clear another card and one less to have to keep track of!  I have also checked and on CC4 only part of the balance is due in April, the bulk of it is due in November.
