I have had the same happen to me and I know some have been complaining on the o2 forum about things reappearing, and mine is a complete mess with o2, Capital One and Metro Bank....

Strange thing is i pay my Credit Cards Off in Full, and like @philveller I had my limit cut and interest rate increased...

Yeah it is strange, how old are your hard searches?

Regards my NewDay account I just checked Aqua in the app and my complaint worked they have reinstated my previous limit  :)

What was annoying was that I had to complain this time to get them to reverse their decision, last time I just called and said the letter says I can tell you I want to keep my existing limit and they handled it right then during the call, this time I was bounced between 3 agents in their call centre and it ended up with a formal complaint.

What upset me was this 'DISPUTED' as it looks like that might actually have an effect on how lenders might view me when all I had done was ask them to give me back my previous limit. BTW I am only removing the numbers in the image to make me less identifiable an exact limit within a specific time period would potentially allow people at NewDay to identify a subset of people who might be me, as a database programmer I am just a little paranoid  :)

This is the third time that NewDay have reduced my limit I had over 4k at one point and this episode prompted me to finally apply for for a prime card again which I was accepted for and offered a limit near 10k with a long 0% purchase period, I only asked for 5k and accepted the lower limit I had asked for as I only want a card for overseas spending flights, hotels and stuff.

NewDay just seem to be trying to free up resources to allow them to pick up new customers but it is really annoying to me when I clearly become the kind of customer they don't want.

@mozzauk was it NewDay that cut your limit too? Did you follow it up with them? I have a cc with them, and they recently increased my limit but I haven't paid a penny in interest yet, so maybe they'll be reducing mine too.  It seems like a strategy they have.

When I first got the Aqua Advance card they kept increasing my limit for about 18 months up to over 4k after that the cuts started at one point to as low as 1k but I've successfully argued the toss twice now, I fully expect them to cut it again in a few months even though I tried to put as many transactions through it as possible so they could get their merchant fee charges.

Some are from 2020 some are from 2021 @philveller

@Amannback yeah its Newday I have queried it with them, and the last answer was we don't know why their are no notes, and when i specifically asked is it because ive been paying off the balance the agent actually said that's the right thing to do.

The AquaCard is getting closed or cut up and put in a drawer as bored of these games, with them...

I have also tweeted ClearScore and they are going to investigate as its a bit odd they said, re the duplicated / triplicated entries

(i haved edited this so it makes sense to people who dont read the whole thread).

There's nothing for Clearscore to investigate. They have no input to or knowledge of lender policies.

They'll just tell you they can't see any reason why and that it all seems a bit odd.

I think you have missed half the thread, they are investigating why entries are duplicated or triplicated on the credit reports
