Morning, hugs if you need one. Gers, you are bound to have 'wobbles' from time to time, the silliest thing can set you off, its cathartic. The daftest things set me off when I look and suddenly see something that Nicholas did for us, the bird table blew over, , Nick made it for DB's birthday some years ago.........seeing it lying on the ground just destroyed me.
Late to the line this morning, I decided to do the veg, grind some coffee beans and slice the loaf I made yesterday before the sun got round to the back. We drank our morning tea sitting on the bench surveying the garden. The pots we planted are doing very well.
Roast pork and veggies for supper, have made a bread and butter pudding with some stale tea cake and bread, it will do us two nights.8 -
I have a choice of 2 dinners today - chicken curry or smoked bacon in a panini.

I need to put my feet in a cooling pool, the day has turned blazing hot. Glasgow is really beautiful in the sunshine.Monna - the help I've got is probably because my DM was a very special person and I'm just in her glow. Number one nephew is my only family in the UK now, and he's in England. I was hoping to not 'bother' him, got a text back saying NOT A BOTHER so that's me told.I had a lovely leisurely breakfast with Alan, the cafe owner stood and talked to us for ages which I really enjoyed. Once we finished I came back here, cleared out more stuff and took it all to the tip with a stop off at the food waste dumpster on the way.The sunshine lifts the spirits, today is the perfect day to do a load of washing and hang it out, here's hoping for more later on in the summer. My audio book has come to an exciting bit so I'm off to listen to it. Happy gardening / bbq'ing / watching footie etc to all.9

Finally managed to get here, am not sure if the site has been playing up or if my rather elderly tablet is to blame.
I have had a busy few days, nothing major, just catching up with jobs and finally I can just manage to put the washing on the line without having to ask Mr AOD for help so that is a if step forward.
I have made and we have eaten a curry but just with naan bread, not rice, and some ready made poppadoms - I can make these but frying them is very stinky and I don't like them microwaved which is just as well since we don't have one. I made cucumber and mint raita to go with it but That Man had the lion's share before I could raise my spoon. I just had a small portion as I have had a tumy upset for a few days, no deals what has caused it. I'm meant to beat the dentist tomorrow, for a check up but if I'm still feeling 'del8ca5e' I will put it off, no point in 3 hours on the bus there and back if unwell and I really don't want the mister to drive me as it is tge other side of the city and the council has introduced a clean air zone, our car insurance rather old and the charge for crossing it is quite high.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back6
