I am currently using aphes007's WS as a ref/guide. as I was told that this was a better and more up-to-date WS. Does it matter that my defense uses a different template and different examples to this one?0 -
We give examples of witness statements as a guide to format and style not to be copied without making sure it relates to your case, so you are correct to question that. Use the WS by @aphex007 as a guide for how to write yours but based on your defence. The WS is to back up and support with evidence your defence therefore the facts in anybody else's WS would not suit you.2

Just rapping up the 1st draft of the WN
One of the claims made was that the vehicle left some 20 minutes after time paid for ended and was over the 10 minutes grace period - it NPR on the entrance and exited of the car park - is there an argument I could make regarding this?
Thank you.0 -
Depends what you put in the defence - if you refuted that assertion (which presumably was in the POC) by stating that you left at a certain time or some minutes before the paid parking time ended, then you need to show evidence of that, do you have a dash cam for instance or could you prove you were somewhere else by that time?AlilHelp said:Just wrapping up the 1st draft of the WNS
