Unusual Car Insurance Claim

Hi all,
Hope everyone is well.

Today, my partner ( named driver on my policy, but also has own car with associated policy ) decided to scrape the car against some kind of a high kerb, resulting in significant damage to our car.
The damage will definitely have to be repaired under insurance due to the complexity ( Tesla model 3 - area around the batteries etc. )

Cut a long story short - I currently own 2 cars, both with their own private insurance policies.
My other car's policy has a max ( unprotected ) NCD, whilst Tesla is a brand new policy with none.
The intention was (and still is) to sell the other car etc. but with lockdown this never happened hence the two cars/policies.

If I make a claim on the "affected" policy, will I ultimately loose the NCD on the other? Or will I be able to use that NCD for my renewal next year?

Thank you!
