Declined delivery - moving house

Hi there - sorry if it's the wrong board

I ordered a Waitrose delivery for today and payment has been declined. I'm in the middle of moving house so my credit card is under my 'old' address but I put the delivery to the new one. 
Could this be the problem? I thought you could have delivery somewhere other than home anyway?
My payment was authenticated before I logged out initially.

  • You can normally do billing from one location and delivery to another (e.g. presents for one thing!) yes but it might be Waitrose being cautious. Why not ring Waitrose and ask rather than posting on here given none of us work for Waitrose or have the capacity to fix your issue?

    TBH. Why it has declined is irrelevant at the moment.
    Ring waitrose and get it sorted. Then ring the bank and get your address changed. Or ring the bank get address changed, then ring waitrose. 👍

    All sorted now. It was a MasterCard issue, nothing to do with the addresses or my card. 
    I just thought it was a bit of a coincidence that I had changed the delivery address when I placed my order.

    Just putting the wine in the fridge 😂
