We bought a leather sofa from DFS which started peeling after 12 months,they sent a specialist out to repair the sofa and he damaged our new laminate flooring. DFS offered us £100 compensation to repair the flooring. The sofa has also deteriorated and we are stuck in a complicated mess to try and get a resolution. Where do we stand as regards the damaged flooring, can we take them o small claims court?
