For those enquiring in various threads about current PIP timescales: I appreciate they are different dependant upon where you live but in my case I made my PIP application (new claim, not a review) in mid Feb 21, returned the forms mid March and heard today that my phone assessment will be with Capita in just over a week. So it will be 13 weeks exactly since they received my completed PIP2 form.
Interesting to be told it's a phone assessment as there were rumours in April that they would be returning to F2F assessments in May.

Although they have started back the face to face assessments for the majority of people, it's still phone assessment.

My mum made her first application on the 10th Feb, the phone assessment was on the 23rd April and received Standard for both on 17th May.  I was really surprised how quick it was in comparison to mine which took nearly 7 months for the initial decision.
    I'm Ever hopeful!
