Hi,
i am looking for informed advice if anyone can help. My son was looking for what to do this summer. He is dyslexic, as in, has had full Study Needs Assessment completed officially. He put in his bank details onto a site, authorising £1, he thought he was accessing information. The site said to agree to Ts and Cs, which he simply did. A few weeks later £1398 went from his bank.
I checked Ts and Cs and in capitals it says you have entered into a contract and will not be refunded.
We passed all information onto fraud dept in bank, they can do nil due to Ts and Cs stating this. We continue to be in touch with the company via email, and today have submitted the full in depth Study Needs form to them, requesting leniency and repayment. There is an address for a physical office in UK, but no sign of this on street view on Google Earth. The last email states they have moved their office to Greece, but do not give an address. They are not registered with Companies House. On phoniing there is never an answer, normally the voicemail is full, but today i was able to leave a message.
I am looking for useful, preferably legal advice please, many thanks, Christine
