Tiling 16sqm - fair quote?

I’ve been quoted £700 to tile approx 16sqm, this includes all the grout etc, I supply the tiles. This is in the north west area. No tiles need removing etc, new build property.

Is this a reasonable quote?

Is the job just a straightforward square floor, or does it involve a lot of shaping/cutting?

Apart from around the bottom of the stairs and a toilet it’s reasonably square

So more than one room?  In that case, it doesn't sound too bad.  Have you had any other estimates?

Yes, the hall and two rooms off the hall. I thought it was a good price and agreed (not booked in yet) but someone said it seemed really steep so I was put off

A hall and two rooms is going to involve a lot of cuts!  You forget that cuts also go around the entire perimeter! 

I think that is perfectly reasonable.  Cheap, even.
