I’ve been quoted £700 to tile approx 16sqm, this includes all the grout etc, I supply the tiles. This is in the north west area. No tiles need removing etc, new build property.
Is this a reasonable quote?

Is the job just a straightforward square floor, or does it involve a lot of shaping/cutting?0

Apart from around the bottom of the stairs and a toilet it’s reasonably square

So more than one room? In that case, it doesn't sound too bad. Have you had any other estimates?moreofthegoodstuff said:Apart from around the bottom of the stairs and a toilet it’s reasonably square0 -
Yes, the hall and two rooms off the hall. I thought it was a good price and agreed (not booked in yet) but someone said it seemed really steep so I was put off0

A hall and two rooms is going to involve a lot of cuts! You forget that cuts also go around the entire perimeter!
I think that is perfectly reasonable. Cheap, even.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
